Unraveling the Challenge of Blocked Drains

Blocked drains are more than just an inconvenience; they can lead to foul odors, slow drainage, and potential damage to your property. Traditional methods of addressing blockages often involve excavation and replacement, causing disruption, extensive costs, and time-consuming repairs. This is where our advanced pipe relining services come into play, revolutionizing the way drain blockages are resolved.

The Pipe Relining Difference

Our pipe relining process begins with a thorough inspection of the blocked drain using cutting-edge camera technology. This allows us to pinpoint the exact location and nature of the blockage. Once assessed, we employ our trenchless pipe relining technique, eliminating the need for disruptive digging and minimizing the impact on your property.

Step-by-Step Pipe Relining Process

  1. Diagnosis: Our skilled technicians conduct a detailed CCTV inspection to identify the cause and extent of the blockage. This informs our tailored approach to resolving the issue.
  2. Preparation: The blocked pipe is meticulously cleaned and cleared of any debris, ensuring a smooth surface for the relining process.
  3. Relining Installation: A specialized resin-saturated liner is inserted into the drain, strategically placed to cover the affected area. This liner is inflated, ensuring a secure fit against the inner walls of the pipe.
  4. Curing Perfection: Through controlled heat or ultraviolet light, the resin undergoes a curing process, creating a durable and seamless inner lining within the existing pipe.
  5. Final Inspection: Once the resin has cured, we conduct a final inspection to verify the success of the relining process and ensure the complete restoration of drainage functionality.

Pipe Relining Process

Our Services

Pipe relining is a trenchless method of repairing stormwater pipelines and sewer systems. This technique involves inserting an epoxy resin sleeve within the existing pipeline, which is then sealed in place. Pipe relining can be used to repair damage caused by corrosion, leaks, root intrusion, and other problems. This method is less disruptive than traditional repair methods, and it can often be completed in a shorter timeframe.

Clearing the Pipe

The first step is to clear the pipe of any debris or blockages.

Tree roots, mineral build-up, oils, and fat are just a few of the causes of drain pipe blockage. Blockages can also be caused by foreign objects or damage to the pipe system. To unclog a clogged drain line, high pressure, high volume water is sent through the line via hydro jets to clear any blockages.

Inspection With CCTV

Once the pipe is cleared, our staff will conduct a comprehensive pipe inspection with CCTV to locate any cracked, damaged or leaking pipes and determine what has to be repaired.

At this stage, our team will be able to provide you an estimated cost of the pipe relining procedure before we start trenchless pipe lining. You may examine the inside of your pipes using CCTV cameras before and after the pipe relining procedures.

Pipe Relining

The relining process begins once we know the precise location and condition of the pipe damage. In accordance with Queensland Government’s Plumbing and Drainage regulations, we use resin lining to repair the pipe from within.

A thin tube with a flexible or semi-rigid lining will be pushed through the pipe. Then, a ready-to-use epoxy resin mixture will be drawn via the liner from a hose to cover the inner surface of your plumbing system. This will result in an even layer of epoxy resin inside your pipe.

We will keep repeating the procedure until we obtain the desired effect. Epoxy is allowed to cure. Water and UV light can help it cure faster. Once cured, epoxy resin will form a new pipe inside your existing pipe. The result is a smooth, watertight, corrosion-resistant surface that will last for decades.
